The project was realized in the period from 2019 to 2020. The goal of the project was to analyze the current state of flora, game and habitat through concrete field research in the wider area of the Majevica mountain, with the inter-municipal area of Tuzla and Čelić also included. The donor of the project is the Environmental Protection Fund of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Results of the project: recorded 477 species of vascular plants from 82 families, two endemic species of plants for the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, nine species of plants of varying degrees of threat from the Red List of wild species and subspecies of plants, animals and fungi ("Official Gazette of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina", 7/ 14), six habitat types and four main game species.
Our field surveys of flora, fauna and habitats provide valuable information about the state of biodiversity in our area.
Activities such as promoting environmental practices such as recycling and waste reduction contribute to reducing pollution.
Our work serves as an example of good practice and an inspiration to other communities and organizations.
Through our activities, we build togetherness and solidarity among citizens who share the same purpose - the preservation of nature.
