This project was realized in the period from 2020 to 2021 in the full height of the COVID-19 pandemic, under difficult circumstances and restrictions that were in force during that period. In cooperation with partners, an inventory and analysis of the current state of fish and bird fauna diversity in the wider area of the Modrac reservoir was carried out. Professional collaborators on the project were experts with many years of experience in the field of ichthyofauna and ornithofauna research. The donor of the project is the Environmental Protection Fund of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Project results: nine different species of fish classified into five families were caught and 26 species of birds were recorded.
Our field surveys of flora, fauna and habitats provide valuable information about the state of biodiversity in our area.
Activities such as promoting environmental practices such as recycling and waste reduction contribute to reducing pollution.
Our work serves as an example of good practice and an inspiration to other communities and organizations.
Through our activities, we build togetherness and solidarity among citizens who share the same purpose - the preservation of nature.
